In the middle of June Training Peaks and Garmin made it whole lot simpler to upload data to Training Peaks. If you are doing this now, you know the routine. Upload your data to Garmin Connect, then find your most recent workouts, select them and then upload those using Device Manager. Device Manager is a separate application, bringing the grand total of 3 programs to get your data to the spots you want it most.
The bad news is that this has been a well kept secret for most. I believe should you make the update, you will thank yourself!
Good-bye olden days! After you have your auto sync set up, you will automatically get your Garmin data over to Training Peaks–it is nearly instantaneous. You can get all the information you need from Training Peaks on how to do this.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- If you have data on Training Peaks and you select “Include last 30 days of workouts with initial sync.” you will get duplicate information if you have data included.
- Check out DC Rainmakers Review of this feature.
- Take 30 seconds and set up your Bluetooth enabled Garmin now.
